Description
Drawn on A3 Bristol board smooth, using Staedtler technograph pencils 4H to 5B, electric eraser, blenders and tortillons, is a beautiful picture of a mother bear and her young cub. A commissioned piece drawn from a colour photo greeting card.
This took around 15hrs to complete and I really enjoyed how challenging the fur was to create the different textures.
The cub's fur was definately more spiky and softer, almost hedgehog like to look at. In comparison to the mother's developed fur, which I hope to have portrayed well.
One of my favourite drawings to date and I hope it is well liked.
